Return Eligibility

Return Period

  • Only electronics and home appliances are eligible for returns (subject to product conditions).
  • Customers must notify Laksela.lk within 3 days of receiving the item to request a return.

Condition of Returned Items

  • Items must be returned in their original packaging, with all tags intact, and in the same condition as delivered.
  • Items that have been used, installed, or altered will not be accepted for return.
  • Any product that has been used will be handled only under the applicable service warranty (if a warranty applies).

Responsibility during Return

  • Items being returned are the sole responsibility of the customer until they reach Laksela Warehouse.
  • Customers must ensure items are properly packed to prevent damage during transit. Damaged items during return will not be accepted.
  • Customers should retain proof of postage or courier receipt for parcels containing returned items.

Replacement Policy

  • If a replacement for the exact model or size is unavailable, a full refund will be issued.
  • Delivery charges for returning items will not be refunded.

Refund Processing Time

  • Refunds will be processed within 14–21 working days after approval.
  • Refunds to credit cards or bank accounts may take additional time depending on bank procedures.

Special Cases – Air Conditioners

  • If an air conditioner purchased is under-capacity, customers may receive a credit note or upgrade to a higher capacity unit by paying the price difference. Customers are not eligible for a refund.
  • Customers are advised to calculate the exact room capacity when placing orders for air conditioners, as exchanges of ACs are not allowed once delivery is completed.

Manufacturing Defects

  • Any manufacturing defects requiring repair or return must be reported within 7 days.
  • Manufacturing defects should be discussed directly with the relevant vendor or supplier using the information provided on the warranty card supplied with the product or service.
  • If the product or service does not include a warranty card or supplier contact details, customers should contact Laksela.lk to obtain the necessary information.

Change of Mind

  • Refunds will not be provided for change-of-mind purchases.
  • All sales are final except under the circumstances outlined in this policy.

Damage Reporting Policy

Physical Damage

Any physical damage must be reported within 2 hours of delivery. Customers must inspect items immediately upon receipt.

If damage is identified:

  • Do not accept the item, and
  • Contact Laksela.lk Customer Service immediately for further assistance.
